bass loop w/ drums Post

Hi again. For this bass loop i used two influences, Nirvana's singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain, and R.A.T.M.'s (Rage against the Machine) Tom Merello. Although both never even picked up a bass guitar in their career, both pioneered in different parts of beats, sounds, effects, and pure rythm. I tried to mimick Kurt's mellow rage, by using the bass in segments, with sustained notes. And i threw in some effects who Tom M. might have used (who knows this guy could have created this effect, after all he did graduate from Harvard). Nothing fancy, turned up the gain, and i think i threw in something else, but im not to-to sure. And for the drums i just threw in what sounded good. Enjoy! ***I apologize it is very short, i must have accidentally posted the verison which i didnt repeat many paterns***

First drum loop post

Hi everyone, leave your comments and tell me your opinions. When i created this drum loop, i thought to myself "which parts of the drums flow best together?" The answer was hard to find. When creating this loop, i auditioned many kicks, toms, and a couple of hi-hats. Finding the right sounds, pitch, and rythm for these were hard to find. For the drum fills i wanted a crazy, 2 second loop that would make people say "Woah" to try and achieve this, i used a heavy amount of toms and kicks to make it flashy. Enjoy!
