chords description
Hey again guys, ok, for this project, we had to take basic guitar chords, and use them in our project. So for this, i used basic chords, and put them in the "Slayer" guitar channel, the result is a nice, clear-toned guitar-sound, nothing to-to fancy, which i think worked for this project. For the chorus, i took the same exact chords, but made them so they weren't broken up, like the prevoius sound. threw in some effects, and i was done with the guitar sound. So, on to the drums. I found this really basic drum sound on "FPC" but using some effects, (reverb, delay and uhh... fruity phaser?) it created an awesom, whip-lased sounding drum sound, really cool. Comment!
synth description
Hey guys, for this project i started off with a simple saw wave, i didn't really like sound to much, i had a high pitched, almost fire syrine sound, but then me and Mr. Rabuse agreed it didn't really go with the other synth, which, i was not willing to let go of the 2nd synth, it sounded to cool. Anyway,i just droped a fruity phaserr effect on the 1rst synth. For the drum sounds, i sed the FPC mode, but i used them only as a base, i modified them myself, they sound really haevy and loud, which i like :D. through a little reverb on them, and the drums were complete. For the second synth, i used a really cool chop patern, and modified the sound. the result was awesom, i panned the sound, to make it more real. Comment!

post for "automation" (April 29 post)
Hey guys, for this project we got to use all of our prior knowledge of Fx studio, and also got to use clips that could mogulate certain things (volume, paning, etc.) So i got really excited. Ok, to start of this song, i went to corny route and went with a "whats this knob do?" voice, it just seemed right, because of the fact that we were fooling around with the knobs of channels to see what sounded cool. Right after the voice, the song began very fast, with my automated "systrus" tune, which i put effects on, and i automated the volume and pitch with. for the drums, i simply threw in a FXC grove, threw in some reverb, and did paning on it.the drum solo seemed like a good idea, because the Sytrus deffinetly needed a break. I ended it with another drum solo, ending with the classic "crash". Enjoy and comment!
Post for "Guitar" project (March 17 post)
Ok, so for this project, we had to use multiple effects, or FX. Using the "Sytrus" Channel, i decided that this was the tune i would put chorus, and phaser on. i also used a little delay, just to make it hang in there over the drums and keyboard. For the main guitar pattern, i used reverb and something called "fruity phaser" it sounded well, kinda fruity. But i was feeling goofy on that day, so it sounded right. on the drums i used the "FXC" channel, splashed a little reverb, and i was done. Comment please!
